Clear plastic angle and screws for attaching our custom speaker grills. Use one set of four fasteners per grill. More fasteners can be used for larger grills. Suitable for indoor use.
To install with the fasteners hold the grill in place where is will be installed and mark spots (with a pencil) on each of the four sides where the fastener will go. Remove the grill and install the angled pieces just inside marks that you made. Use suitable screws for the type of surface that you are mounting the grills to. The screws we supply (8 x 1/2 metal screws) should work for many surfaces but you may want to use other types as drywall anchors or wood screws. Once the fasteners are installed on the surface the grills should press fit onto them. This press fit may alone be secure for some installations but to make the grill more secure you will want to install screws through the sides of the grill and into the plastic piece. Put a 1/8” drill bit through one of the grill holes and drill a pilot hole through the angle. The supplied screws can then be installed through these holes. |
