SWK12ARED -12" Speaker Repair Kit Angle Attach January 27, 2016 Reviewer: JanJ from Toronto   The angle of the cone on surround was not an exact match with the speaker cone. The inner circle of surround was a bit too small which made gluing somewhat difficult. I had a hard time to find at home a plate (dinner) or a pot with proper diameter to stretch the surround and make sure that it adheres fully to the speaker cone. I fixed two speakers and the first one did not come out perfect: the inner circle of the surround cone was not glued in spots. The speaker works well though. I did not try to play anything loud so far (I'm not young anymore). Was this review helpful to you?

cone centering instructions December 18, 2014 Reviewer: larry mercer from westminster, CO United States   Your instructions for cone centering then gluing allows for movement (offcentering) when you start to glue. I used 4 pieces of 3/4 wide masking tape & taped in 4 equal spaced places on the outside edge of the spkr frame then flexed the cone to verify its centered.  Then glued the surround & let dry.  Remove 4 pieces of tape & glue those areas. Worked fine with no guesswork. Was this review helpful to you?

30 year old HED Cerwin Vega like new November 7, 2014 Reviewer: William Hewitt from Callander , ON Canada   Just installed the new surrounds on my 30 year old U321 HED series Cerwin Vega speakers. My once thought dead drivers are working like they did when they were new. Delivery was relatively short considering I live in northern Ontario. Highly recommend this product. Great product February 4, 2013 Reviewer: Michael Scott from Nw Brunswick Canada   It was a little while getting to me in Canada because I ordered Dec12 (Christmas rush) but when I received the kit with instructions it was very easy to repair my Cerwin Vega woofers to new condition ( never done this before) excellent product!!!
