15" speaker foam surround replacement June 10, 2014 Reviewer: dan alexander from brandon, FL United States   Your direction on how to preform the foam replacement were very helpful. The glue and applicator were perfect for the job. My repair came out absolutely perfect. The speaker preforms and looks like new again.. I'm quite proud of myself !....Thanks ! Replaced Technics 2680 surrounds January 21, 2014 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from SIOUX FALLS, SD United States   These surrounds did the job, and did it well!  I was replacing the surrounds on some very old Technics 2680 3-way speakers.  The surround does glue to the bottom of the cone, so it takes a few extra minutes of work to get the cone cleaned up for this.  The directions say you can glue to the top of the speaker, but with these that will make it harder to center the voice coil.  Each speaker took me about an hour and half to clean/prep.  Glue sets in about two hours, but I let each step dry overnight (gluing to the speaker, waiting, then gluing to the bezel and waiting again) Overall I'm very happy with these surrounds.  The speakers look/sound great!  Brought new life into 25+ year old speakers Was this review helpful to you?

SWK15A January 7, 2014 Reviewer: Jerry W. from Greensboro, NC United States   Nice to have a repair resource avail. online. Got these surrounds to repair old Pioneer.  They sound great !  Also got the spacer tabs, and dust caps. First time doing this, and didn't know if voice coil would line up right. The instructions r very understandable, online support if needed, a day earlier on shipping !  All is well with the woofers again. Was this review helpful to you?

speaker refoam kit March 21, 2011 Reviewer: Andy Buchanan from Woodstock on. Canada   I got my re-foam kit for my infinity Sm 150's and they fit perfect. it was alot easier than i thought when i ordered them. With the instructions that came with it and online here i installed the foams in less than 10 mins actual work time and a couple hours waiting for the glue to dry. My first time doing this and I'm happy i did. thanks for the great product and the lowest price i could find anywhere. the cost total including shipping was less than just the foams at other company's i tried. look forward to doing business with you in the future. Thankyou Speakerworks.com September 19, 2010 Reviewer: Scott G. from Charleston, SC   I have a 20 year old Marantz system with a pair of Marantz SP1515 3-way speakers. I discovered that the foam surrounds on the 15" woofers were completely deteriorated. I Googled the term "how to repair speakers and it led me to your sight. The info and tutorials were easy to navigate. I ordered a pair of SWK15A kits and they arrived at my house within 3 days. I repaired my speakers yesterday and I deceided to wait 24 hours before cranking them...they sound GREAT...good as new and for 1/10th of the price of replacing them with new woofers! BTW the gaskets kits which I also ordered are not needed for the Marantz SP1515 units. Was this review helpful to you?
