12" sub re foam kit swk12ab December 25, 2014 Reviewer: Jordan from Muskegon, MI United States   Awesome, fixed older down firing sub.  Not hard to do, just takes patience.  I think the bass is even better.  My den shakes again, movies are alive again.  Ordering another kit, friend gave up on the same model sub.  Going to fix that one too.  I'll submit a picture of this one when I'm done.  Backup never hurts.  Also best price by far I found online for the type of kit I bought. Very impressed! October 19, 2014 Reviewer: Curtis Harrell from San Antonio, TX United States   The foam surrounds on the woofers of my mid-80's Sony 3-way speakers had completely deteriorated.  I had looked into a new pair but it was very expensive to even approach the quality of what I have.  I found SpeakerWorks and given the price, even if the repair didn't work then I wouldn't be out much...  Well, the repair kit arrived (in low-waste packaging, yay!) with very detailed instructions so I was able to quickly effect the repair.  When the adhesive had dried I re-installed the woofers into the cabinet and... the sound quality was amazing!  They were like new again.  My wife and I are extremely impressed - the quality is awesome and the price really is unbelievable.  We were thinking about having to spend $1500+ to replace our speakers but for less than $30 we brought new life to the awesome vintage set we have, with every loving ding and scratch they've endured being part of our family for so long.  I am so happy to have found SpeakerWorks and higly recommend their products. SWK12AB Surround August 3, 2012 Reviewer: Dan from Michigan   Even though the SWK12A is recommended for the JBL 128H woofer (that comes in the JBL L150 speaker system),  I found the SWK12AB to be a more exact fit.  I am very pleased with the ease of installation and the sound quality. The excellent audio quality of my JBL L150 speaker system has been restored. Was this review helpful to you?
