Simple and Effective April 6, 2015 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   I used these on a pair of Boston Acoustics Series II A40 speakers. The repair took about 2-3 hours and wasn't anything very complicated. This was my first time fixing up a pair of speakers and it was pretty easy. 6" Boston Speaker Repair Kit - SWKBOS6A January 29, 2014 Reviewer: I Thomson from Victoria, BC Canada   Ordered 3rd Jan, shipped, cleared customs and delivered on 17 Jan.  Repaired and operating Jan 19th. Instructions looked intimidating but weren't,  worked carefully & completed 2 speakers in 7 hours total.   Was concerned about centering the coils (shims are not included) but there is least 15 minutes time to adjust and make sure the coils do not rub while the glue sets.  Used own brush after trying stiff ones supplied.   Would have cost about $400 to purchase new speakers but repair only cost Can $28 and sound great.     Suggestion, 1/3 of the way into the instructions learned that plastic speaker cones require priming with a plastic compatible super-glue when using the supplied foam glue.  Think that should be noted clearly on the website or recommend during the ordering process. Not a big deal just an annoyance to have to stop, go find & buy some after starting the repair. VERY happy with my purchase and especially the results.   Thanks Was this review helpful to you?
