Kit to repair one 10 inch Infinity speaker. This surround is thinner and more pliable then our standard SWK10A. Comes with 1 foam surround, instructions, can be ordered with or without adhesive, applicator brush, and phone or email technical support. Fits a speaker cone of 7 1/2 inches. Works on angle attach speaker cones.

Infinity, & other speakers.

Note that we will only send one set of instructions per order. We will usually combine the adhesive into fewer large containers for quantity orders.  We will send sufficient brushes to facilitate the repairs but we may send less brushes than the number of kits ordered.

I replaced the foam surrounds on 8 drivers in total.  Perfect fit and good communication from SpeakerWorks on shipping status.  My Infinity RS3a speakers had no foam surrounds remaining on the woofers.  Still, removing the residual glue from the speaker frame and speaker cone were very time consuming and resulted in some sore fingers.  I highly  recommend that you cut out the center dust cover and shim the cone in the voice coil to  center it.  I did not and am now doing two of the drivers again.  If the cone rubs the voice coil the speaker is very buzzy sounding.

After refoaming my 5.25" RS 125's I was a bit more cautious when ordering foam for my sm-115's. I searched all over the net and compared numerous sellers. Somebody respected in the community mentioned that he felt that speakerworks was one of few to actually offer something other than one size fits all. I ordered the replacements and they were as close to factory foam as I could find. The profile matched, the color seemed close, and the overall compliancy felt like the factory ones. These might work with other drivers as well, but I really feel they were not the one size fits all that acsaw everywhere else.
