I bought this kit thinking that I would try one last thing to save the speakers, but I ended up making them my main speekers after installing the new sround. I am very happy with my purchase, and I look forward to restoreing the rest of my speakers!

5 of 5 8"Boston Speaker Repair Kit Angle Attach with 1" February 12, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
This kit worked very well.  The staff was very helpful on the telephone   prior to my purchase,so that I received the right parts.  The written directions were completely clear, with the result that although this is delicate work, I had no problems even though this is the first such repair I've done.

5 of 5 Nice product December 3, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Edinboro, PA United States
Customer service at Boston Acoustics refered me to Speaker Works after letting me know that they no longer carried the replacement speaker for my older speakers. After visiting Speaker Works website, I talked to a Rep, who confirmed the proper speaker repair kit. The process of re-foaming  the bass speaker was a bit of work,  but the instructions were easy to follow. So far, so good. The old speakers have the great sound they used to have. Recommendation:  Take the time and give it a try. The price is right.

Reviewer: B. Thibault from Ottawa, ON Canada
I did't even know it was possible to repair speakers and was about to through them out when I came across your site and figured why not try an salvage them. I ordered the parts, received them, read the intructions provided and fixed them. It was as easy as advertised and now instead of landfill, I can continue to enjoy my old speakersand they are like new.

5 of 5 There is a first time for everything August 3, 2014
Reviewer: Mats Elffors from Alnö, Sundsvall Sweden
I had never changed surrounds on a speaker before and didn't even now that it was possible. Stumbled into it when trying to find replacement elements for my speakers.
It was easier than I thought. I thought that the part when you have to center the cone into the coil would be the trickiest but it went pretty smooth.
Now I have a pair of new speakers :-)
