With the cloth ordered on-line from SpeakerWorks, and with my neighbor's help- who is a carpenter- we were able to re-construct a missing grill frame for my husband's 1980's B&W DM110 speaker set. The 2nd frame was in tact, but the fabric was torn through. The cabinets are black, but I ordered the Light Brown color from SpeakerWorks because our plan is to mount the speakers up on the open beam in our living room. The beam is stained in a brown in a similar color to the new grill cloth, and I wanted the speakers to blend in as much as possible. SpeakerWorks sent free samples ahead of time, and that is how I made my fabric color selection. I recovered the grills myself, and they look as if they're brand new. The fabric is stretchy in one direction, but not in the other. It is very sheer, just like the original fabric, but a little rougher in texture. Thanks, SpeakerWorks!
