Speaker rebuild components September 27, 2017 Reviewer: Vincent Fall from Dallas, TX United States   This was my first attempt at trying to salvage my 25 year old subwoofer which has brought me years of incredible thumping. Obviously, I couldn't find a replacement and was faced with upgrading to a like sub at the cost of $2500. Speaker Works had everything I needed, complete with great step by step instructions. I am happy to say, I am back in business with a perfectly sounding sub that I will continue to enjoy for years to come. Great company with great solutions for your speaker rebuilds. Great experience January 11, 2017 Reviewer: Les from Burlington, ON Canada   I purchased a new foam surround for my Boston Acoustics sub-woofer recently. The package arrived with everything needed to repair the speaker (foam surround, good instructions, glue and an applicator). Because it was winter and I live in Canada they included a second type of glue that would not freeze when being shipped, nice touch. The replacement foam surround fit perfectly and I completed the repair easily following the instructions. 24 hours later the glue had cured and the speaker was fully functional and sounding as good as ever. Boston Speaker Repair April 5, 2016 Reviewer: John Mitchell   Received the product in about one week (Canada).  When I test fitted the foam on the speaker the foam seemed to big.  The instructions covered that problem so I let the foam sit for a couple of days and unflatten from the shipping envelop.  This seemed to help.  Glued the inner edge of the ring one night then the outer ring then next night.  I was going to use the tone generator to help center the speaker on the voice call, but once the glue dried after gluing the inner ring I could see the speaker was naturally centered.  I had to push on one side to hit the voice coil – so I just glued the outer edge of the ring and pushed by hand like on the example video.  Worked great and the speakers sound great – easier than I expected. Perfect fit February 29, 2016 Reviewer: Robert Foster from Beaumont , TX United States   I contacted Boston Acoustics about I repair kit for my active woofer.  They put me in touch with Speaker Works.  I found it easy to search for and purchase the appropriate repair kit. The instructions included with the kit were clear, and I was able to make the repair  myself without any problems.  My woofer is now repaired and sounds as good as ever.
