My sub is like new again October 15, 2014 Reviewer: Paul from WV United States   This kit restored my Boston Acoustics PV-600 to like-new condition.  My old surround had deteriorated from age and the sub was fluttering like crazy.  The replacement surround fit perfectly with no trimming. As others here have said, installing the repair kit is not a simple task.  It took me over two hours to remove the old one, clean and prep, and install the new one.  You need some patience, skill, and a little luck, but the results are worth it.  My sub sounds perfect again. Shipping was faster than expected, too.  I can't recommend these folks enough. Was this review helpful to you?

Amazing results! October 8, 2014 Reviewer: David Gilmore from Jacksonville, FL United States   I could hardly believe how easy this was; after a thorough study of the paperwork, the actual repair took only 5 minutes, including trimming the O.D. to fit the steel basket (was very slightly larger).  The surround seemed to line up the voice coil perfectly, no adjustments were necessary.  My $600 sub sounds new again - best $11 I ever spent! Worked but needed trimming May 1, 2014 Reviewer: Howard Matis from Berkeley, CA United States   I was able to fix my speaker.  However, the procedure to fix the speaker was much harder than the website promised.  The problem was that even though I ordered the exact kit for my speaker, I had to trim the surround.  Trimming the surround was very tricky.  I would have give the purchase five stars, if the original kit fit.  Trimming is very tricky.
